McKayla Maroney is a member of the gold medal winning United States Women's Gymnastics team for the 2012 Olympics in London, England. She is 17 years old (born December 9, 1995). She is a silver medalist for the Olympic vault. Her other team members include Kyla Ross, Jordyn Weiber, Gabby Douglas, and Aly Raisman. The team won gold medals in the 2012 Olympics. McKayla Maroney is known to be the best vaulter in the world.
